Club Information
 The Royal Ashburn Golf Club is a well established, high end, first class golf course.  Wilson Paterson purchased the property in 1959 and opened the doors in 1962.  We are an 18 Hole Championship facility that has been host to numerous professional events; The Canadian Tour Qualifying School, The Canadian Open Qualifier, The Great Lakes Tour Events, and in 2011 we will be hosting the University National Championships and The College National Championships.  Our Food & Beverage is well regarded by our guests and is of excellent quality with most items prepared in house.

Qualifications
• Must have experience in the F&B industry and worked previously as a bartender
• Outgoing personality able to communicate effectively with management, chefs and patrons of The Royal Ashburn Golf Club
• Must be willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must be smart serve certified
• Must have successfully completed a bartender’s course
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have transportation to and from Royal Ashburn
Priorities will be given to applicants who:
• Have experience with a point of sale system
• Who have similar experience within the food & beverage industry

Job Responsibilities
• Responsible service of alcoholic beverages to the patrons of Royal Ashburn
• Maintaining a clean front of bar and back of bar
• Handling unruly customers in a non-confrontational manner
• Opening and closing of bar (Returning liquor to storage and stocking bar)
• Never say no to customers always try to accommodate any special requests
• Keeping track of inventory
• Must have the ability to stop service of a customer who you feel has had enough to drink.
• Reporting to Dick & Donna Eng if you notice we are running short of a certain product.
• Communicating effectively with service staff  to ensure Royal Ashburn’s customers are receiving prompt and correct service
• Working together as a team with service staff and helping them with their service if it is required
• Filling in as or for a server if it is required by management
• Communicating effectively with chefs and back of the house staff
• Ensuring that all glassware is kept free of water spots, lipstick, smudges etc.
• Keeping an adequate supply of lemons, limes, mixes, straws, stir stick, etc on hand at all times
• Replacing kegs as needed when lines run dry
• Replenishing beer fridges and re-stocking bottles of beer, wine, coolers, etc.
Compensation
Staring at minimum wage, but will vary based on position
